My husband has just started the medium plan and is working on the diet modifications. I am joining him on taking the Vitamins A and C for the health benefits. We want to know if you know of any adverse interactions that are likely to happen with our current additional use of Magnesium Citrate, Krill Oil, CoQ10, and Niacin along with the products in the medium Peyronies treatment plan.

I am 14 years of age and my name is Mo.
I’ve always thought my penis is normal until further investigation,
that shaft going down my penis has always worried me, and the curve started getting me researching,
so after finding out I probably have it since my penis arches and I have a shaft, I started thinking why,
it shouldn’t occur in people my age. Well my sister kicked my penis when I was younger and I went to

The way you use the word “shaft” confuses me.  You use it as though it was an abnormal structure.  Most people use the word to indicate the primary long cylindrical mass of the body of the penis minus the head or glans portion.   For this reason of uncertainty I cannot respond to this portion of your concern.

You are asking important questions without providing enough information that would allow me to offer suggestions to you.  Do you have Peyronie’s disease as a result of the injury you received? 

If you are that concerned about your current condition I strongly suggest that you speak to your parents or an adult family member you trust to explain that you have a medical problem for which you want help.  When you are asked you can explain that your problem is of a personal nature and you would only feel comfortable discussing it with a doctor.     TRH  

Does wiping off the DMSO and other topicals after the first five minutes reduce the effectiveness of the treatment?

When you received your order of DMSO you were given detailed instructions about application and cleaning up afterward.  The instructions told you that after the first 5-7 minutes all DMSO would be absorbed into the tissue along with the other topical therapy you are using to treat Peyronie’s disease.  After this time you can safely wipe it off since all DMSO is gone.  Any oily film that remains is simply the gel that is used as a carrier for the DMSO solution.  TRH

I never had a problem with my penis til the last year. I am 63 yo, WM who has had two prostate biopsies over the last 6 yrs…each biopsy came back negative. After this second biopsy I notice my cock bends towards my tummy when erect and that it has lost about 3/4 of a inch…this is substantiated by my wife. Your upward distortion and lost of penile length suggest the possibility of Peyronie’s disease.  I suggest you have yourself examined to see if that is true or not.  I also suggest you go to a urologist different than the one who did the biopsies to assure a more non-biased and straightforward discussion.

Many men with Peyronie’s disease develop it as a result of repeated catheterization associated with prostate surgery and biopsy.  Please refer to Possible Peyronie’s Cause:  Catheter and Cystoscopic Trauma.   Much abuse to the shaft and urethra can and does take place during these procedures and this could lead to Peyronies disease developing; since this traumatic effects tend to accumulate, all the more so.

I read that glucosamine and chondroitin makes Dupuytren’s contracture worse.  Is that true?  I have it in my hands, as does my mother and we both stopped taking glucosamine and chondroitin because of what I read.  Should we go back on it?

The question about the association between glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate and Dupuytren’s contracture occasionally arises.  I can tell you that i have not found any clear and compelling research into this area on which to base an opinion, so the best I can do is fall back on what makes sense and what I have read over the years about the experience of others with Dupuytren contracture when taking  glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate.

I have read on various Dupuytren’s forums that people who have DC report that when taking glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate for osteoarthritis that their hand lumps and cords become thicker and their hand mobility is worse.  Further, they also report after stopping the glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate supplements that their hands improve.   Of course all of this is greatly anecdotal, but most of the good things we do to help Dupuytren contracture are anecdotal in nature because we lack the kind of research we would like to have and rely on common sense and observations of cause and effect.

 While I do not have a solid answer to give you, I suggest it would be prudent for you and your mom to find a better way to help your arthritis problem  that using  glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate.  TRH

I’ve been dealing with this crazy Peyronie’s condition for about 18 months. In that time, I’ve visited 4 different urologists. The first was when I first experienced mild pain in the left tip of my penis. The doctor diagnosed it as prostatitis and send me on my way with some antibiotics. A second urologist several months later diagnosed me with superficial vein thrombosis. Finally, several months after that, I was diagnosed by a third urologist with peyronie’s which seemed to appear as long bands of inflammation from the base of the penis to the tip on both sides. I was told surgery was the only option, and was sent on my way.

Not satisfied with the suggested treatment plan of surgery, I decided to surf the web and do my own research. I found a site that promoted Neprinol as the only known cure. So I bought into it. I think I tried 2 full months (9 pills a day). The only result was a substantial hit on my wallet. So I went back to the web and found another site (PeyroniesForum.net) where members talk about various treatment options. The consensus on the site was that Neprinol was in fact a huge scam, and I stopped using them. Members also praised the use of Pentoxyfiline as being an outstanding product for softening scar tissue and alleviating curved penis. So I went back to a fourth urologist and asked for a prescription, but was denied. Instead, i was recommended to try the Andropenis traction device.

I’ve been on the device for 5 full weeks now, but I think I’ve decided to stop. Your website recommends against it, as well as another site. My urologist described it as working in a manner opposite of what a Nesbit procedure would be. For instance, rather than shorten the penis on the site opposite the scar tissue, traction would elongate the scar tissue to correct curvature that way instead. Made sense to me at the time. But now it sounds as if traction does not work because it’s not really stretching the scar tissue, rather only healthy tissue.

So if I stop with traction, I’ll be happy to not deal with that contraption any longer. It reminded me of having my penis in a mousetrap for 9 hours a day. Not to mention I always worried about whether people could see it jutting out through my trousers at work, and despised having to take it off every two hours to relax. That’s not always easy in the middle of a busy work day.

In any case, I came across your web site again. I’ve decided I’m going to give your “Medium” package a try, so I placed an order. I admit I’m very reluctant because you seem to be a heavy proponent of Neprinol, and I’ve heard people state emphatically that the product is a scam. I also ordered your Handbook. It’s expensive, but maybe there’s something in it that I can learn.

I do have a few questions if you wouldn’t mind responding. Today, I have two “knots’ in my penis. One that feels about the size of a dime on the right size near the base of my penis. Another is about the same size, also on the right size, but towards the tip. But my penis bends to the left when flaccid (sometimes 10-20 degrees, sometimes 45 degrees like after masturbation), and I can’t figure that out. That’s seems counter to everything I’ve heard before, that the bend is on the same side as the plaque.  So if you have any insight as to why my bend is to the left when my plaque is on the right, I’d be very interested. Regardless, that leads to my first question, how will I know where to apply the topical treatments? Would I apply to the right side where the “knots” or “bumps” are located, or should I be looking somewhere on the left side for plaque? Or should I just apply the treatment to the entire penis shaft? Maybe directions come with the kit, but any advice you can share would be greatly appreciated.

Second, can you share your thoughts on Pentoxyfilline and it’s effectiveness for Peyronie’s. Not sure if I’m spelling that correctly.

Thank you for your informative letter and specific questions.  I will reply with comments and answers in the order of your email.

There is no direct known cure for Peyronie’s disease.  Neprinol is not a cure, but is is not a scam.  In my opinion, after working with many hundreds of men from around the world who are undergoing Alternative Medicine treatment of Peyronie’s disease, I know Neprinol is an excellent enzyme product.   It cannot be counted on as a solo therapy for Peyronie’s disease since none of the products found on the PDI website are by themselves able to change the PD scar or plaque material.  None of the therapies found on the PDI website are good solo therapies – they all must be used as part of a larger plan to support the natural healing process that is the only known form of cure for Peyronie’s disease.   When Neprinol is combined properly and taken aggressively the results can be dramatic.  I do not know how any of the experts on the various Peyronies forums actually used Neprinol when they took it, but many times when I communicate with men about their failure with  Neprinol I learn that they “tried it for a few weeks and it did not work,” or “I took two pills a day and it did not work,” or some similar manner of use that is doomed from the start.   In order to get results from Neprinol it must be used correctly.  If you bought your Neprinol from PDI we warned you not to use it that way; if you bought it from someone who does not know anything about PD you did not get that kind of help so you would know better.  Peyronie’s disease is a tough and tenacious problem to treat.  I am not surprised at your lack of results after using Neprinol as a solo therapy.

Here is a simple example that just occurred to me about Neprinol and PD:   Beans are a great food.  I like beans.  But by itself beans make a lousy chili – it is just beans.  For a good chili you have to add meat, garlic, onions, tomatoes, lots of different spices and a few other items.  It is only by combining the beans with all the other ingredients that you create chili.  None of the ingredients by itself is chili.  It is in using the correct technique (there are rules for bringing the ingredients together, you cannot just throw everything into a pot) when you bring all these things together to develop the magic that becomes a great bowl of chili.  Same with combining Neprinol with the other things your body needs to help it overcome and correct your curved penis and Peyronie’s disease.  

Pentoxifylline is popular with some urologists and not so much with others.  I think that those who actually prescribe pentoxifylline do so because they are tired of dealing with the other drugs that do not work and only use this one because they do not know what else to use.   Perhaps I am being overly skeptical and blunt in my assessment.   Some time back I wrote two articles that might be helpful on this subject, Pentoxifylline, Niacin and Peyronie’s Disease and Pentoxifylline and Peyronie’s Disease Treatment. 

Every month I hear more horror stories about the mechanical penis stretcher devices.    You did not indicate what problems you were having that you wanted not to deal with it any longer, but it usually has to do with pain as well as skin abrasions and blisters, and the fact that it does not work for the large majority of men.

The two plaque or internal scars you have located do not explain your deviation to the left.  My experience is that Peyronie’s plaque are usually multiple.  I suspect that the two you have found on the right are not the only ones that you have.  I suspect you also have one or more plaque on the left that are far more aggressive and instrumental in distorting your penis that those you have found on the right.   Let me know if you need help locating the other scars and I will assist you.   If you can not locate those scars on the left that are causing your distortion pattern I suggest that you apply the therapy at the deepest or lowest point of your concavity on the left. You could apply the DMSO, Super CP Serum and Unique-E vitamin E oil to the entire shaft if you wanted to, but it is unnecessary and wasteful; be as specific as possible.   I trust that the detailed DMSO instructions you received with your order cleared up this point for you.

Neprinol reduces inflammation and tissue damage

The benefit of Neprinol AFD to Peyronies treatment is that it can break down and assist the removal of the fibrin that remains in the Peyronie’s plaque or scar.

Hello doctor, I am 18 and was wondering a couple things. First, are all lumps involved with Peyronie’s disease painful?  Does PD always result in permanent length loss? If so how much usually and or how long til it stops. And more importantly, I think I may have PD and was wondering if kegeling could cause further damage as it helped my erections. I stopped a couple months ago tho. Also more importantly, I have been taking fish oil for about 6 months now and vitamin e for a week. Since I started taking vitamin e my erections have gotten much harder and I was wondering if that could make my PD worse like Viagra would. Finally, my lump is more noticeable at certain states of the penis than others, and moves with the skin kinda looks like a new vein? It is not hard. Please answer all of the questions I’m nervous (

Dear Dr. Herazy,

I have done a lot of reading on your website and am really confused, as to whether I am or I am not a patient of PD.

About a fortnight back, I have felt hardening of a vein, about 1-2 inch of it, below the penis skin, near its root.  However, as on date, I have not felt any curvature of Penis, neither in normal penis, nor while erect.  However, I do feel that I have lost Libido and do feel a little pain, at the point of hardened portion.   Moreover, I do feel that I am not able to maintain Erection, once the intercourse starts and unable to continue strokes.

My Urologist have diagnosed me with Peyronie’s plaque and have recommended a daily dose of Vitamine-E cap. 400 mg plus Inj. Kenacort 40 mg +Inj.  Hyalase 1 amp (IV) – weekly for 6 wks.

After going through your website, I assume there could be some side effects of IV injections and would request you to suggest some alternate medicines, to address this issue of “Peyronie’s Plaque”.

I am a Govt. servant of 50 yrs, 5.5 Ft. height and about 72 Kg weight.

I must ask why you are confident what you find is actually a hardened vein, and not a Peyronie’s plaque since your urologist has already diagnosed you have Peyronies disease.  Many plaques are long and narrow, like a vein. You can certainly have PD and not have a penile curvature at this time; it might develop in the near or distant future; some men never develop a bent penis because the plaques they have are balanced and do not pull the penis excessively to one side or the other. Reduced libido and reduced sexual performance are common to PD. 

Penile injections sometimes cause Peyronie’s disease due to injury to the delicate tunica tissue of the shaft.  Having drug injections to treat Peyronies carries a certain level of risk; many MDs who come to me when they develop their own cases of Peyronies refuse to have drug injections into the penis for this reason.  You should talk to your doctor about this. 

Taking solo treatment of synthetic vitamin E is probably not going to help you.  You must use a combination of various therapies as outlined in the PDI website if you hope to impact your ability to treat your problem successfully.  TRH 

I’ve been using the X4 Labs extender a little over year now.When I use it I do about 2 hours.I’m still not sure if I should be wearing it straight out or tilted right since my curve goes to the left. I admit I haven’t been as consistent as I’d like to but that’s mostly due to constantly reading that they do more damage than harm and they actually only swell up the penis because it’s injuring it and the swelling gives the effect of enlargement.

I’m not sure 100% but it seems like since I’ve been using this extender my penis has been twisting or rotating. It use to just curve to the left but now, it seems like it’s starting to point down as well. When flaccid, it’s really noticeable…almost a 90 degree twist where i look down and the right side of my penis is centered.

I recently posted a question on here yesterday about not being able to locate a scar, but it seems the characteristics of one are present…Is it possible the scar is so ‘strong’ that when I use the extender everything around this scar which seems like it would be on the left underside of my penis is growing around it??

Thank you for your insightful and honest look at using a mechanical penis stretcher.  A few times a week I hear from men like you who are having the same and similar problems while using their mechanical penis stretchers.  Many hundred men have told me over the years that their Peyronie’s disease started after using a mechanical penis stretcher – not a very good endorsement for something that is supposed to correct Peyronie’s disease.  I agree that the illusion of greater penis size could be caused by swelling and inflammation to the injury you are causing.

I have bought all of the mechanical penis stretcher products available.   Most have poor instructions for general use.  None provide specific information about using the penis stretcher for PD because they cannot do that legally, because they cannot make the claim because they cannot prove it does what they say it is supposed to do.  Remember that all a penis stretcher is supposed to be is a way to enlarge the penis, and they cannot prove they can do that either.

You ask a specific question about how your penis is responding to your use of your stretcher device.  I cannot answer that question.  I advise that you see a urologist and have him answer that question after examining you.  Before you do that, I suggest that you discontinue all use of your stretcher.   TRH

I am a customer of your site! thanks you for your site and your information to help us! I purchased your manual stretching cd before but to i am confuse stil and had not really began seriously of any stretching routine. I am not sure if my distortion is ( downward curve) a peyronies decease. I do not feel pain today from my penis. This distortion happened i believe when i was much younger ( i am 27 now) i stimulated my penis then felt a pain afterwards. I didnt touch it anymore for a long period of time (traumatized because i was much younger back then). Could it be doctor than the cause of my downward curvature is because i believe i prolonged the time when i did not do anything to my penis while staying erect inside my briefs in a downward position? plus the pain i felt long long ago? if yes would the manual stretching method help improve the curvature (moderate) plus the vitamins and minerals you are supplying us? please enlighten me doctor because it affects my over all self-esteem. thanks .:)

If you have Peyronie’s disease you can use all the methods found on the PDI website to increase your ability to heal and repair this problem.  You already know we do not advise using only the gentle manual penis stretching technique to correct your problem.   You must also use at the same time a wide variety of enzymes, vitamins and minerals to strengthen your tissue response to eliminate the foreign fibrous tissue.  TRH

No, as far as improving sexual function is concerned, you do not need to take vitamin E if you are taking Male X Booster.  But you would want to take vitamin E as an important part of your Peyronie’s treatment plan.   Yes, you can take Male X Booster once daily.

I have Peyronie’s disease for over 3 years.  Lately, the curvature is 45 degree and bending rapidly. It’s preventing me from concentrating and keeping a firm erection. This condition is starting to affect emotionally.  I avoid having sex.  I’m 52 years old and married for 25 years.

I had taken Potaba pills and did not work. For the past two weeks I have been taken Vitamin E. Not sure what to do next.

vitamin E by itself is not very effective as a Peyronie’s disease treatment, but then again there is nothing that when taken by itself will be effective.   To get truly good results with your vitamin E you must combine it with other therapy products to support and increase your body’s ability to remove the PD plaque material.

POTABA is not a well tolerated drug and it is not especially effective against Peyronies.  POTABA is a modification of PABA, a member of the B vitamin family, that is made into a drug by adding a potassium molecule onto the vitamin.   This was originally done because PABA received good research results as a Peyronies treatment, but the drug industry would prefer to sell drugs and not low-price and ow-profit vitamins.    So they created the drug POTABA that irritates the dickens out of the digestive track so much that few men can take the drug very long, and it does not work as well as PABA anyway.   For this reason we continue to suggest the use of PABA in Peyronie’s treatment plans.

Sorry if you’ve answered this in the past but I didn’t see it on here…would you advise against “hanging weights” from the penis? I’m not sure if this is can be as damaging as extenders but I’d just like to get a consensus before I spend any more money on this penis of mine.

I can see why penis stretchers/extenders might not work but with weights, it is gravity after all.

Yes, it is only gravity.  Try telling that to the fellow who has a brick fall on his head. 

Gravity is a universal force of attraction that increases with the mass or weight of an object.   The effect of hanging a grain of rice from your penis is far different from hanging a brick from that same sensitive organ. 

In regard to the idea of hanging something from the penis, this is the essential problem with this strategy of penis elongation:  How do you attach the hanging weight to the penis in order to stretch it?   Unless your penis is vastly different than those I have seen, your penis does not come with a handle or other point of easy attachment for this weight.  There is no good safe way to attach a weight in order to traction the penis.  For this reason the usual strategy is to tighten some type of clamp to hold onto the head (glans) of the penis to produce a traction force. And this is where the trouble starts.  The tightened clamp that is applied to the glans can easily cause blisters or tissue erosion, as well as problem related to decreased blood flow as a result of the prolonged pressure. 

Even if your penis does come with a handle to which you can safely and conveniently hang a weight, what good is that in relation to Peyronie’s disease?  When you stretch the penis forcefully you can only stretch the elastic and normal tissue, not the dense and fibrous scar material.   The normal stretchy soft tissue of the penile shaft will stretch long before the fibrous scar, and so all traction force will be absorbed by the normal tissue.  Nothing will happen to the scar material using this strategy.

It seems that most men are naturally interested and want to believe that making their penis larger is beneficial to Peyronie’s disease.  I have seen too many cases of Peyronie’s disease start with the use of hanging weights and penis stretchers to know that this is not a good idea.  Sorry.  TRH

Moist heat is often overlooked as a part of Peyronie’s disease treatment because it is common and not flashy or scientific.  It quickly, easily, cheaply and very effectively draws blood to the area of your treatment. Add it to your therapy plan today. 

A moist heat pack can be made by wrapping a towel that has been soaked in hot water around an old fashioned rubber hot water bottle to keep the temperature sufficiently hot for the time it will be used.

Since many people would not have easy access to a thermometer to actually test water temperature,  I will only comment that a good temperature for water for the purpose of making a moist hot pack to use for Peyronie’s treatment is somewhere in the area of 105°F, give or take a few degrees either way.   Most people just hold their hand in the flow of water and know what temperature will feel good and still be safe to use.  We always caution to use a safe water temperature that will not cause tissue burns to this delicate area of the body.  I would hope that common sense and past experience will guide everyone to know how to keep themselves from getting burned.

Duration should be at least 10 minutes to bring enough increased blood flow to the area to provide therapeutic benefit; longer if you have the time and opportunity.  I suggest that you should use such a hot pack before you do any of the external therapies: manual penis stretching, DMSO, vitamin E and copper peptide applications, or the Genesen Acutouch pointer therapy. 

It is very safe if you are careful and use common sense.  Do not fall asleep while using a heat pack, and do not use a water-proof electric heating pad because if you do fall asleep with one it can continue to “cook” you while you sleep.  TRH 

If I am successful in dissolving or removing my plaque, does the penis straighten out on its own?. Do you recommend gentle traction at this point to assist with the straightening since the plaque would be gone?

Great question.  Thank you.

The only reason your penis is now curved since you developed the  bent penis of Peyronies disease is because there is an internal mass of dense fibrous “scar like” tissue, or Peyronie’s plaque,  within the tunica albuginea of the shaft.  This plaque interferes  with the normal filling and expansion of the shaft during an erection.  If you did not have the plaque, you would not have the curved penis.   If your Peyronie’s plaque is eliminated by your therapeutic efforts there will be no reason for your penis to be curved.  

The gentle traction technique that was developed during a one year research project through PDI was never intended to be a solo therapy. It was not tested as a solo therapy, only as an adjunct to existing therapy that was not advancing very well.  It made a great difference to those cases who were not responding well.   This gentle stretching protocol is not done after the plaque is removed; it is done while there is still plaque present in the shaft.  The intent of the gentle stretching is to stimulate the degradation or undermining of the Peyronie’s plaque so that it is reabsorbed and removed more rapidly better while under the influence of all the other Alternative Medicine therapy you should  also be using.

I’ve been reading that Xiaflex (used for Dupuytren’s contracture) was tested for Peyronie’s disease with pretty successful results and could be on the market as early as this year.  Should i get my hopes up?  Is this worth being excited about?

I am hearing more and more about nasty side effects and bad reactions from Xiaflex injections for Dupuytren contracture.  I think this is – or should be – the reason that Xiaflex has not been given fast approval for Peyronie’s treatment.  I hate to think of what might happen if Xiaflex begins dissolving normal soft tissue structures in the penis as it sometimes does in the hand. 

From the tone of your email I get the sense that you are genuinely hopeful about Xiaflex might do for you, because you feel so helpless against Peyronie’s disease.  Most men feel this way. You can get your hopes up, and you can get excited about it, if you wish.  Many people are sitting around waiting for a medical miracle cure while their lives slip away with a curved penis or useless hands.  They have the attitude that if there is no drug to save them, there is nothing to help them because the body cannot do anything against Peyronies disease or Dupuytren contracture.  Personally, I do not accept that line of thought.  I have seen too many people injured by drugs, like Xiaflex, and helped by Alternative Medicine. 

I believe a far more rational and safe approach to treating these two problems, and many others, is to first attempt more conservative treatment using a wide variety of simultaneous Alternative Medicine treatment methods.   Only after exhausting all possible conservative options would I remotely consider taking the calculated risk of a drug like Xiaflex.   The tone of your question suggests to me that you are not aware of, or even considering, the possible harm that can be done with a drug like Xiaflex.  

Many new drugs come on the market each year because of glowing reports and spectacular enthusiasm for the wonderful research results.  The new drug is highly advertised and heavily used for a while.  Then slowly and quietly new information comes out that bad things are happening to those who take this new wonder drug.  Even more quietly the drug is removed from the market a year or two later.  How many times have you heard that same story played out over and over?  High hopes based on questionable research, people hurt, drug withdrawal, many lawsuits. 

Why do we see so many TV commercials from lawyers who are trying to sue the pants off these drug makers?  The legal profession has created this large industry for themselves because there are so many bad drugs on the market and so many people who are injured, that lawyers can profit from this misfortune.  What should that tell you?  The lawyers are not making this stuff up.  They are just taking advantage of the huge opportunity they are given by bad drugs and injured people. 

Fact:  The U.S. is the heaviest user of drugs and surgery.  Fact: The U.S. is ranked about the 16th healthiest nation in the world, and we die at an earlier age, behind 15 other countries that take fewer drugs and use less surgery than we do.  If the use of drugs and surgery leads to health and long life, we should live the longest and be the healthiest country and we are not.  What does that tell you?

Sure, there are good drugs and not all drugs are bad.  But you must be extremely careful how you go about using them.  Xiaflex might help you, I cannot say one way or the other.  In my opinion, if you are going to use Xiaflex it should be the last thing you do, not the first thing.  You should certainly talk to your doctor about your decision and educate yourself to the best level you can.How you approach the treatment of your problem is your decision.  TRH

I just ordered the DMSO. I’ve been concerned about storing this product in its plastic container, since it’s a solvent and might pick up some of the plastic. I transferred my last batch to a glass jar. Do you think there’s any basis for concern?

The very special type of plastic used for the last 40 years by Jacob Labs as the primary container to store and deliver their various DMSO products is a laboratory grade of polyethylene; this is not your garden variety plastic.   As you correctly point out, DMSO will leach and transport many polymers and chemical elements if it is kept in the wrong kind of plastic container.  This is a subject I covered with the Jacob Lab people over 10 years ago when we first started to work together to develop a Peyronies treatment protocol.   Dr. Stanley Jacobs is a medical doctor, as well as a teaching and research professor at Washington State University, and he gave me his complete assurance that this more costly container is completely safe to transport and store DMSO.

Personally, I would be more worried about the DMSO picking up the residue of what used to be in your glass jar (mayonnaise, spices, even the soap you washed the jar with, etc.) and getting into your tissue, than anything from the original polyethylene container the DMSO comes in.
